A problem shared is a problem solved

Affordable Living Event
Date: 21 April 2011
Venue: ESPC Edinburgh Showroom
Time: 17.00-19.00

Feedback from visitors to recent ESPC events has shown that there are many potential buyers on lower incomes or with limited financial means who, because they are finding it difficult to rent privately or buy, are keen to explore the benefits of shared ownership, shared equity deals and other similar initiatives which could help them to achieve their goal. It’s not only first-timers who are findings thing difficult. Times are tough too for those wanting to move up the property ladder from their current home to one with more space to accommodate, for example, a growing family.

As one of the leading property experts in Scotland, ESPC has details on some of the best deals around which could help make more new affordable homes available to eligible buyers who find themselves priced out of the current housing market. Shared equity schemes which are offered by developers aim to help anyone who wishes to purchase a new home but who is unable to pay the full percentage of the purchase price at the time of completion. It can get confusing though as not every scheme works the same way.

With this is in mind, ESPC is hosting an “Affordable Living” event on Thursday 21 April 2011. The event will be held in the ESPC showroom, 85 George Street, Edinburgh from 5pm – 7pm.

Featuring key players from the new-build sector, the event will offer ESPC customers advice on all aspects of shared ownership, shared equity and ways of securing a mortgage. In addition, free independent advice will be provided by a team of property experts consisting of Solicitors, ESPC financial advisers and representatives from the City of Edinburgh Council will be on hand to offer independent advice on the different options available.

If you are finding it difficult to finance your property purchase and would like to find out more about the different options that are available then this is an evening you can’t afford to miss. For more information please email Affordable Living Evening via help@espc.com. We look forward to seeing you in the showroom on 21 April.
